Families are invited to get up on their feet and step into the past, in this workshop exploring the story of Aethelfllaed and her life in the middle ages.

From smelly clothes to fearsome battles, and from tricky middle English words to funny things for supper, participants will work together to work their way through medieval Gloucester and to lead Mercia to success.
